New Brunswick, New Jersey

Senesco Technologies, Inc. ("Senesco" or the "Company")(OTC
BB: SENO), announced today that it has signed a worldwide
exclusive license with
Harris Moran Seed Company ("Harris Moran") to commercialize
Senesco's technology in lettuce and melons.
Upon successful achievement of milestones, the license provides
that Senesco will receive $4 million in development payments
over a multi-year period along with royalties upon commercial
introduction.
Harris Moran is a unit of Groupe Limagrain, a world leader in
vegetable and field seed breeding and production, with total
revenues in excess of $1 billion. Harris Moran breeds innovative
vegetable varieties designed to boost yield, reduce chemical
inputs, and increase flavor and product quality. The Modesto,
California based company distributes vegetable seeds in more
than 65 countries.
Bruno Carette, President and Chief Operating Officer of Harris
Moran commented, "Harris Moran is very excited about Senesco's
technology. By increasing yield and resistance to environmental
stress in leafy plants, without reliance on transgenic or GMO
techniques, Senesco has presented Harris Moran with technology
that fits perfectly with our commercialization strategy. We
anticipate field tests of new products as early as 2003, which
we believe is possible due to the many beneficial features of
Senesco's technology."
Bruce Galton, President and Chief Executive Officer of Senesco
stated, "This agreement represents an important milestone for
Senesco, as it is our first agreement in the seed industry.
While completing discussions on the license agreement, we have
continued to work closely with Harris Moran to advance the use
of Senesco's technology in lettuce and melon seeds. This
cooperation will enable Harris Moran to adhere to the original
timeline for benchmark dates and to maintain the targeted field
test date in 2003. We look forward to a highly constructive
collaboration with Harris Moran to help them to further advance
these products."
Senesco is a functional genomics company whose mission is to
enhance the quality and productivity of fruits, flowers,
vegetables and agronomic crops through the control of senescence
(aging) in plants. Results to date include longer shelf life of
perishable produce, increased seed and biomass yield, and
greater tolerance to environmental stress. The Company is based
in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
Consistent with the Company's commercialization strategy,
Senesco is engaged in discussions with several companies
interested in entering into licensing agreements and strategic
relationships for the use of the Company's technology.
