CelPril announces management changes

Manteca, California

CelPril announces key management changes involving Boyd Hartman, Product Marketing Director, and Roger Repp, who has served as CelPrilšs General Manager for nine years. The recent changes see Boyd Hartman moving into the position of General Manager while Roger Repp takes on a new position, that of Director of Seed Technology for Aventis Crop Science. 

Hartmanšs move to General Manager comes after the completion of his assignment as Product Marketing Director at CelPril. He will be leading the company in its stated strategic direction, providing world class seed coating technology to the seed industry. Hartman has extensive seed industry experience including prior marketing and management positions at Pioneer and the USDA . 

Repp has worked in the agricultural industry for over 25 years, with management assignments in the ag chemicals, seed, and the seed enhancement industries in the USA and Canada. He held the General Manager position at CelPril during a period of growth in which the company has grown by three times. Repp attributes the growth to the strong team spirit developed during his tenure at CelPril. In his new role, Repp will provide direction during the coming months for the transition of management of the business and contributing to CelPrilšs global seed technology business direction. 

CelPril is also pleased to announce the appointment of John Snelling as Northwest Technical Representative for CelPril. Snelling will be responsible for sales, marketing and technical support for Washington, Oregon and Idaho for all film coating, process and  build-up coating products. He will report directly to Jeff Hensley, CelPril Marketing Manager. 

Snelling brings a depth of knowledge to CelPril with his past experience at Rogers Seed Company where he was Regional Production Manager and Quality Assurance and Inventory Manager from 1994-present. John earned an MS degree from Oregon State University in Seed Technology with a minor in Integrated Pest Management and a BS degree in Botany from the University of CA, Davis. Snelling, who currently live in Twin Falls, ID, will be relocating to Boise, ID, in early 2001.
