Magnum Genetics, Inc. has purchased a majority interest in United Genetics Seeds Co..

Magnum Genetics, Inc., represented by Dietrich Schmidt, will take an active role in the management of the company. He is the new Chief Exective Officer of the company.

Dr. Remo Ludergnani, founder of United Genetics Seeds, will be responsible for sales and marketing.

The company focus is to strengthen its research and development of new products in tomato, pepper, squash, melon, watermlon, cucumber and egpplant in order to meet the needs of markets worldwide.

Company headquarters remain in Hollister, California.
