| The
Cajun F1 hybrid series stays more compact than any other on the
market...in the greenhouse, and on the retailer’s shelf — despite heat
and humidity, even when night temperatures are high.
Short internodes and lateral branching reduce
plant stretching without loss of plant strength. Even under hot days and
almost as hot nights, Cajun doesn’t stretch like other series. Cajun has
‘horizontal vigor’; the plants bush outward first, covered in flowers,
and then grow upwards to fill in beds.
This series is perfect in the Sunbelt or anywhere
stretching is a problem. With Cajun, you maintain shipping quality longer
in the face of adverse conditions. Hold a flat of Cajun two weeks past
your normal ship date, side by side to your current series. You and your
retail customers will see the difference. |
|
| Each
Cajun line is screened on soil for germination and vigor as part of the
breeding process.
Our standards are bred in before introducing the
variety. This means consistent correlation with your results in your
greenhouse.
All colors of Cajun are available as Premagic®
and PreNova® pregerminated seed.
These patented technologies deliver essentially
100% viable seed. PreNova Cajun has a shelf life of up to six months, and
requires no special ordering or handling procedures other than
refrigeration of the seed. |
- Cajun Impatiens measurably different, simply
doesn’t stretch like other series.
- Cajun is the earliest flowering series on the
market.
- PreNova pregerminated seed has 6 month shelflife
and consistently delivers 92-95% useable seedlings.
- Very free-flowering, with flowers above the
foliage.
- The spicy colors are vivid and non-fading under
high light and heat stress.
- In the garden, plants size up nicely and fill in
beds and containers like other impatiens.
- Cajun is available in 11 colors and a formula
mix.
