New University of Leeds project: biology, history and intellectual property

United Kingdom
July 28, 2014

Source: UK Plant Science Federation

I am pleased to announce the launch of a new project from researchers at the University of Leeds, which aims to increase public appreciation and awareness of the role of intellectual property in science today. It is of particular interest to plant scientists, as the project 'Cultivating Innovation', focusses on the plant sciences and agricultural industries.

One key goal of the project is to engage with as wide a variety of different communities as possible, so it is hoped that contemporary scientists with interests/views/insights into these issues, will get in touch with the project researcher, Dominic Berry d.berry@leeds.ac.uk or join this discussion on the website, its blog, or on twitter through @IPNarrowIPBroad

We hope to hear from you soon, and will post on this site in future, when public events are announced.
