My hopes and
aspirations for the Mexican seed industry is that we can
somehow influence the government into taking more proactive
and sound decisions as far as the agricultural and seed
sectors are concerned and that
the government can somehow re direct their work and influence
towards the creation and consolidation of a sound NATIONAL
seed industry that can support the production of food and
fiber to support the Mexican population without direct
dependance on foreign multinationals.
I truly believe
that no country is sovereign and free as long as it depends on
others to feed its people. |
