Organic seed
demand is complex. In Australia the organic industry is very
small. The drive to strengthen organic standards, coupled with
the extraordinary policy of no GM, has created a special new
category of seed. As one local hybrid corn supplier said to
me: "Organic seed is a myth, at least in the corn industry". |
