The various climatic
areas of the region help produce crops all year round.
Besides, the main handicap is the difficulty to get the
agricultural produce to the customer in the consumer market.
Land and sea transports need to be improved a lot.
Over production of some
crops is a serious burden and this delicate and important
subject needs to be addressed much more professionally by all
the actors (public & private) .
The gaps in the
distribution chain do not encourage our farmers to
diversify the varieties they grow. Help from international
organizations is very crucial.
