major issues are the regulation of adventitious presence of GMOs and
the free movement of food – non-tarrif barriers. The WTO is the forum
where these questions will be resolved.
The significant challenge, in the anti-GMOs camp, is to be prepared
and ready for the D-Day of GMOs.
In Europe, where the climate seems to be more pessimistic than in the
USA, this will be the time for new consolidations driven by economic
