We
specialize in cucurbit breeding. We have a staff of
professional breeders, and our goal is to develop hybrids with
better nutrition, yield and resistance. We are not involved in
transgenic breeding. Our year round greenhouses are a great
tool, we would consider custom breeding for your company. You
are welcome to see our ripe watermelons and melons during the
second half of August here in Rocky Ford, Colorado.
Our plant breeders are all on the verge
of important breakthroughs. We hope that our network of loyal
customers in 45 countries will continue to help us by having
larger tests of the new material. Being loyal to our customer
network by honoring exclusives is a cornerstone of our
strategy.
Our joint venture company in China is
a valuable asset for hybrid seed production. We will consider
contract production for you there or in our other production
areas.
We are financially viable and have a
solid business plan for the future. The third generation of
Hollar seedsmen is being trained, we plan to maintain our
course for the foreseeable future.
