How do you see
the evolution of the seed industry over the next 5 to 10 years
? |

I am always reluctant to answer
such questions, because, as
Yogi Berra* said: "Predicting is
tricky, especially about the future". Forecasters are in
general wrong in 50% of the cases.
As it is difficult to
predict, the best solution is for each of us to invent his own
future. The seed industry is complex, with various activity.
Each company, taking into account the issues that are facing
us, has to evaluate its skills, to choose the activity or
activities which they feel best positioned to develop and to
move forward with determination.
I am not convinced that in the next 5 to 10 years the seed
industry will be significantly different from now, but who can
say ? *
