market at this time represents very little because organic
growers can use regular and treated seed for an organic crop.
I understand the Brazilian organic association,
IDB (Instituto
Biodināmico) is presently reviewing the standards for
production and distribution of organic products. IBD is
globally recognized.
This is a niche market, but as disposable income grows in
Brazil, this market will become more important. Agristar does
offer organic seeds in its product line.
