Agristar is a full
line vegetable seed company with 4 divisions: Topseed Premium
(professional seeds), Topseed Garden (home garden), Solaris
(distribution of third party brands) and Agritech (non-seed
items: seed enhancement, pelleting, equipment, peat and bark
mixes, etc.) We are not the biggest seed company in Brazil
(SVS and Sakata share that honor) but we are the most complete
vegetable seed company and probably the fastest growing.
Over the years we have developed a loyal and dedicated seed
distribution network within Brazil. These are what we like to
call "independent branch companies" that distribute only our
products. They are owned and managed by competent, aggressive
and professional people who believe in Agristar's products and
our philosophy of doing business.
It works so well that many companies have tried to imitate
our invention.
Agristar is now entering into the food processing business
with the production of tomato paste of international quality
for the local market and for export. We expect to process 5%
of the Brazilian paste market in 2003. This also enables us to
produce high quality tomato seed for export at competitive
prices.
