Hyland Seeds
John Cowan has worked in the seed
industry for more than 30 years and has
been General Manager of Hyland Seeds
since 1997. He is also a member of the
corporate executive committee of
Thompsons Limited. Cowan is a past
member of the executive of the Ontario
Agri Business Association, a past
chairman of the Canadian Seed Trade
Association corn and soybean committee,
past chair of the CSTA external
relations committee, and was president
of CSTA in 2005 – 06. Cowan was awarded
the 2009 CSTA Seed Achievement Award for
his dedication to the Canadian seed
industry. |
