What consumers
can expect
Colour;
differentiation of size; taste;
nutritional qualities. |
|
The affects of
Monsanto’s acquisition of
Seminis
We are
piggy-backing on what Monsanto
has (in terms of research) so we
can come up with better
varieties on a shorter time. |
|
New
opportunities for traits in
vegetable crops resulting from
the acquisition
Better varieties;
better yields; better disease
resistance; better taste. |
|
A shift in
research to be more
consumer-focused
We have had to
restructure our organization. |
|
The impact of
yield improvements
We are killing
ourselves. |
