Agricultural Business at
Purdue
University. She works closely with
company management teams and Center
faculty to create and implement
professional development programs such
as the ASTA Management Academy. The

initiatives that focus on discussion
based forums for seed industry managers
and executives. |

Industry
reaction to change

changes we’ll be forced into –
but it is a real opportunity to
develop a more diverse
workforce. |
|
A knowledge
economy
Only 2% of
(American) college graduates are
looking for jobs in engineering
and science. |

Future Seed
Executives (FuSE)
I feel the seed
industry recognizes they have a
work force gap. |
|
Attracting new
recruits
This is not just
looking for young professionals
already in the industry. |
|
It’s about
planning
Identify when and
where gaps are going to occur. |
