Responsibilities
- As a member of the Global Crop Team, provide advice and collaborate with the Global Head of Marketing and Sales (GHMS) on the definition of the global strategy for the crop and the preparation of the global marketing plan.
- Design and after approval of the GHMS implement and execute the Regional Marketing Plan per crop.
- In developing international markets collaborate with the Regional Sales Managers to align the actions of the marketing plan per crop and the business plan per region/country.
- Design, implement, execute and monitor the sales plan per crop (set up per customer, area, and crop) and communicate adaptations within the organization.
- Contribute to the implementation of the strategy of Key Customer management.
- Inform Marketing and Sales (M&S) management regarding international market developments (price levels, competition, new product forms).
- Monitor and keep M&S budget costs under control.
- Design and implement a plan for accurate agronomic and marketing positioning of the assortment.
- Manage, direct, execute and coordinate the personnel flow within the Crop Sales department, including, hiring, appraisal, training and development, and career planning by using HR instruments, guidelines, procedures and tools.
- Execute claim handling in line with the M&S policy.
- Implement credit management procedures in line with the financial policy within Nunhems in order to ensure sufficient money collection and positive cash flow.
Educational Qualifications Desired
- Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred in agriculture or related field.
- Five years experience in international sales.
Skills and Experience Desired
- Strong management & communication skills.
- Must be fluent in English and Spanish.
- Willing to travel domestically and internationally.
- Must be able to able to work with limited supervision.
