Technology Pipeline solution (TPS), within the Monsanto IT framework provides cutting edge research software solutions focused at breeding and biotechnology. At TPS we support enterprise-level software that need people involved in very domain intensive roles and require deep understanding of various concepts in breeding, biotechnology and data base applications along with analytical capabilites.
 
Job responsibilities:

• Quick grasping of multiple enterprise applications and their usage by scientific community (scientists and  breeders) and map their usage requirements to support application
• Data Analysis and data interpretation skills to provide solutions to business requests as  a quality-time bound deliverable in a project framework
• Day to day interaction with Global teams, and working closely with IT teams for better solutions in a collaborative function
• Ability to understand TPS organizational as well as processes in Support team, and create operational efficiency 

Educational qualifications and skills

• M.Sc or Doctorate in Agriculture OR Agricultural stastistics OR Plant genetics and Breeding
• Expertise with research methdology, scientific data analysis, experience and use of data analysis tools    

Work Experience/ Skill set

• 4+ years Research experience
• Work experience with scientific data analysis/statistical analysis of data or managing scientific information
• Proven research experience
• Strong oral and written communication skills, collaboration and networking skills across scientific and international teams, self motivated, strong team player

Additonal skills required for the role

• Exposure to programming  and/or knowledge of  PERL scripting
• Familarity of SAS or R  with proir use of tools/methods in data modeling or data analysis
