Process Development Chemist

Location: Palmyra, Missouri, USA

DESCRIPTION:

BASF in Palmrya, MO has an immediate opening for a Process Development Chemist. The incumbent that assumes this role will have the following responsibilities:

  1. Help develop technical information needed to implement new or improved chemical processes for production facilities
  2. Perform laboratory experimentation to support technical projects and resolve plant problems with sustained supervision
  3. Provide experimental laboratory support to department customers and laboratory peers

QUALIFICATIONS:

BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific related discipline with 1-2 years of chemical laboratory experience, to include college coursework

DESIRED:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry with 1-2 years of chemical laboratory experience
  • Experience in Chemical Synthesis

This position is within a job family and will be filled at a level applicable to the incumbent's qualifications.
