At our Elburn, Illinois facility, we currently have an opening for an Assistant Product Manager, Vegetables whose main responsibilities are to assist in managing the existing vegetable and herb product assortment while developing and introducing new products. Responsibilities include: coordinating internal and external trials and evaluations, monitoring production, maintain documentation and support to the Sales and Marketing department, as well as customers.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Ag Business, Horticulture or related filed and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in product management and/or trial coordination preferred. In addition, our candidate should have a general knowledge of vegetable gardening and plants, understanding of farming practices, and the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks with a high degree of accuracy. Strong PC skills including proficiency with MS Office (Access, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) are required. Proven experience to work effectively as part of a team or business unit is essential as well as the willingness to travel approximately 20-30% of time, both domestic and international.
