We are currently looking for a Location Manager for our Production division.

This position is responsible for overall management of corn field production, conditioning, warehousing and distribution at designated plant; supervision and development of location personnel.
 
Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for maintaining a high level of customer service and professionalism.
2. Responsible for projecting a positive image of AgReliant Genetics.
3. Minimize corn and soybean cost of goods sold (COGS) for designated location.
4. Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the Corporate Health & Safety Program.
5. Supervises field and plant operations through the development of key staff members.
6. Recruits, develops and supervises regular and seasonal staff as needed.
7. Develops budget for operations of location.
8. Manages contract relationship with seed growers associated with location.
9. Coordinates purchasing of inputs for location.
10. Supervises seed distribution for locations.
11. Proposes plant capital projects.
12. Other duties as needed.

Duties and responsibilities may be revised, as needed, by the Corn Operations Manager either verbally and/or in writing.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• B.S. degree in agricultural related field preferred;
• Management/leadership experience, technical knowledge of plant, field and warehousing operations, financial and budgeting experience; excellent communication skills, team player;
• detail orientated;
• good computer skills – Excel and Word;
• knowledge of seed industry preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to work required hours; ability to lift 25 lbs.;
• must have valid driver’s license and meet MVR guidelines;
• some overnight travel required.
