Job description:

The Account Manager will be responsible to promote the sale and use of INCOTEC products for seed treatments, encrusting, pelleting, seed enhancements and development of markets for emerging INCOTEC technologies in the Eastern Corn Belt and other assigned areas. This individual will work closely with other Account Managers in managing national accounts and interact with customers at various levels in customer organizations.  This position requires working with minimum supervision in developing sales targets for their assigned region, developing new business opportunities and building strong relationship with customers.

Requirements:  

The ideal candidate will have:

• BS degree in Agriculture, business or related areas
• A minimum 5+ years of sales experience of selling value added products in the ag. industry preferably in seed treatments and polymers
• Good understanding of agricultural practices and knowledge of seed production and farming operations and a working knowledge of field trial evaluations of new products
• Develop strong technical knowledge of products and ability  to present data and product attributes
• Strong leadership, organizational, communication & human resource skills & have a history of sales experience, launching of new products and technologies
• Strong ability to work independently to develop sales targets, market introduction,  growth strategies and implementation of sales programs
• Participate in industry meetings, trade shows and other meetings as required
• Must be able work closely with other functions within the company
• Must have strong computer skills  with proficiency in EXCEL and working with CRM software
• Ability to travel 50-60% of the time
