Since our activities in Brazil are expanding, we have a vacancy for a Sales Manager.

This position will be located in Holambra in the state of São Paulo.

People-oriented Sales Manager

• As a Sales Manager, you are responsible for the introduction and sale of the Rijk Zwaan product range in Brazil.
• You identify opportunities and develop strategies and action plans to improve short-term and long-term sales.
• As a people-oriented manager, you lead and assist the members of the commercial team in their daily work.
• You support their professional development through frequent personal contact, coaching and regular training courses.
• Together with the Business Managers South America, you draw up the 5-year sales plans.
• You maintain contact and strengthen your relationships with major accounts in Brazil.
• Your agricultural knowledge and experience enables you to provide effective, tailored advice to customers and to understand their needs.
• Your primary focus is on developing the sales strategies for the various product lines, including initiating and helping to execute the promotional activities for the Rijk Zwaan product range.

Energetic, enterprising and independent

• You hold an academic degree in agriculture and have at least 7 years of relevant work experience in a similar environment.
• For this position we are looking for an energetic and independent people manager with entrepreneurial drive.
• You are resourceful, ambitious and thrive on taking the initiative.
• Strong social skills, team spirit and the ability to develop and maintain long-term relationships with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds are other indispensable qualities.
• You are fluent in Portuguese and English and are willing to travel, both in Brazil and abroad.
