HM.CLAUSE INDIA IS AN INTERNATIONAL VEGETABLE SEED COMPANY BASED IN HYDERABAD (India). IT PRODUCES VEGETABLES SEEDS FOR THE INDIAN MARKET AND FOR EXPORT. HM.CLAUSE represents approximately 1 600 employees around the world (North America, Latin America, Pacific, Europe, Asia, Africa). Simplicity, humility and changing environment are the key words for our international company, belonging to Limagrain Group. HM.CLAUSE INDIA is looking for a Supply Chain Manager.

Position Purpose:

As supply chain manager, you manage seed flows from multiplication, seed processing until dispatch of orders to transporters, with focus on optimizing cost-quality-lead time.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Establishes and implements production plans according to the requirements in quantity, quality and time defined by HM.CLAUSE India Release Committees (and by the other hubs),
• Overall manages grower’s network, home farms, associated vendors in India and quality control facilities,
• Facilitates the implementation of experiments needed to improve quality and productivity,
• Supervises the development of new suitable areas for vegetable seed production in India,
• Plans, develops and manages the resources and assets to optimize efficiency of supply chain activities such as the home farm, processing plant, QC labs,
• Overall management of the plant including seed processing, QC, packaging and inventory,
• Leads teams and implements corrective actions to achieve the objectives,
• Proposes and follow up supply chain and seed purchase budget,
• Acts in compliance with the laws and regulations of the country related to seeds but also in the domain of the safety of people and security of goods.

Qualifications and aptitudes

• MSc in agronomic sciences or agricultural business with a minimum of ten years hands on experience in seed supply chain / seed production,
• In-depth knowledge of Indian seed production business, budget and expense management,
• Excellent IT skills a must (MS Word, Excel, Outlook and general computer skills),
• Language: Fluent in English,
• Strong interpersonal skills, team player, good communication skills; ability to establish good work relationship with senior experienced middle managers,
• Planning and resource management skills - attention to details to be able to create systems and procedures,
• Self-driven, with high organizational skills and capacity to problem solving and decision making,
• Available for frequent travelling - at least 50% of the time.
