YOUR TASKS

We are looking for a trainee in plant breeding for our German breeding station in Dannstadt-Schauernheim, (South Germany). Being part of the German breeding team, you will be trained on the job in vegetable breeding. You will assist in observing, assessing and selecting in different breeding program and first screenings. Subsequently, you will assist in recording, processing and analyzing the breeding data in electronic systems.
After the three year training there is a realistic chance to become plant breeder in one of our international breeding sites.

YOUR POWER

You have an MSc or BSc degree in horticulture or close related science.
You are open minded and willing to expand your knowledge in plant breeding, modern breeding methods and phytopathology.
You are able to write and speak both German and English fluently.
Moreover, you are a true entrepreneur, flexible, creative and used to work accurate.
You have basic computing skills as you will work with our intern data system.
