RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the 3 workshops of seed cleaning, disinfection and treatment.
• Manage optimal seed processing of all lots taking place at the HM.Clause Sedd Processing Center (SPC).
• Define and follow up that the optimal seed processing operation is executed for all seed lots. This includes working out clear procedures and ensuring they are implemented.
• Manage seed sampling in the SPC. This includes that evaluation of physical / visual quality of all seed lots is correctly done at the time of reception.
• Develop seed processing protocols for HM.CLAUSE India's SPC. This includes experimenting with innovative / alternative processing methods to optimize the seed processing. Target is to achieve the minimum seed quality standards of the HM.CLAUSE India agreed quality chard and losing the minimum of seeds during the process.
• Ensure proper maintenance / calibration of seed processing equipment and other machines.  

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Strong interpersonal skills, team player, good communication skills; ability to establish good work relationship with senior and experienced middle managers
• Planning and resource management skills - attention to details in order to understand situations and create systems and procedures
• Self-driven, with high organizational skills and capacity to problem solving and decision making

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education : Master degree, with previous experience in management of seed processing from an international vegetable seed company
• Technical qualification : In depth knowledge of Excel is required
• Language: Fluent in English and Hindi languages
