PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

Manage production and purchase contracts in the JDE, manage supplier and grower payments, manage domestic and international shipments, inwards and outwards and manage stock seeds in JDE.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage production and purchase contracts in the JDE
• In JDE: supervises and takes part to production and purchase contract creation, supplier creation, contract updates and follow-up, lot reception, quality control data entry
• Outside of JDE: manages contracts and relation with suppliers
• Manage supplier and grower payments
• Supervises and ensures timely grower or supplier payment on the basis of lot acceptance in coordination with Accounts and Production Management.
• Manage domestic and international shipments: Manage both domestic and international shipments.
• Supervise the obtainment of required documents for export or import of seeds and ensures timely shipment and reception of the seeds.
• Manage stock seed inventory in JDE: Drive the project of inclusion of stock seed inventory into company’s ERP

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

• Education : Master degree, with a previous experience in database management and international logistics, preferably in the seed industry
• Technical qualification : In-depth knowledge of ERPs and database creation and management, in depth knowledge of Excel and Access
• Experience: Min. 8 to 12 years relevant experience.
• International relations: RPM Asia, Production Coordinator Asia, Production Manager India, Sales and Marketing team India, QC Manager India
• External: India and some other Asian vendors, Governmental agencies
• Language: Fluent in English and Hindi Manages a team of 3 assistants

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Strong interpersonal skills, team player, good communication skills; ability to establish good work relationship with senior and experienced middle managers
• Planning and resource management skills - attention to details in order to understand situations and create systems and procedures
• Self-driven, with high organizational skills and capacity to problem solving and decision making.

COMPENSATION:

• Commensurate with experience and qualifications. Not a constraint for right candidate
