JOB PURPOSE:

The job is to assist the Director of Quality Assurance (QA) and Intellectual Property (IP) to create and maintain a Quality Assurance Platform that encompasses the processes and protocols required for regional business processes within the BU, while ensuring global harmonization when essential for proper functioning of the BU as a whole. Certifies with the responsible company managers that customer demands requirements are met by our quality products.

POSITION SUMMARY:

1. Propose, develop and implement a QA policy in collaboration with the QA Director
2. Execute approved projects (by QA Director) in the QA domain related to business processes.
3. The employee is an expert in process & protocol descriptions that allows to help experts in any department of the company to describe their work in a manner that it secures execution according to the latest work processes.
4. Conduct internal audits and formulate corrective actions to maintain and improve business processes of the company.
5. Train people on QA topics/subjects (From the director to the operator)
6. Assist the QA Director in the proper functioning of the QA domain of the company.
7. Responsible for investigation of product claims.
8. Main Missions include but not limited to -
   • Execute projects within the QA domain.
   • Responsible for the organization of meetings with employees related to the subject matter, to challenge them on execution of business processes and assist them in a proper translation of their work in a QA format.
   • Expert in analyzing the proper execution of business processes and protocols within the organization and proposed actions for corrections when appropriate by a continuous improvement approach. Assists in setting up and communication on Key performance Indicators
   • Responsible for Audit Planning and conducts audits with Internal Auditors, including the closing of audit findings, and assists in the execution of proper corrective and preventive actions.
   • Assist in keeping the Quality Assurance platform functioning.
   • Educates staff in the use Quality Assurance excellence based on company standards.
   • Train people on QA topics/subjects (From the director to the operator)
   • Responsible for the analysis and follow up of complaint and claims of products in concert with sales, marketing and general facility management.
   • Assist in the analysis of loss or damage to the company physical assets, worker accidents or injuries, fidelity losses and losses from liability claims in the region together with Risk Management and translates the analysis in improved procedures and protocols to prevent new damages to occur.

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

A. Level of training and knowledge domain

• Master study in Quality Assurance or related discipline
• Excellent computer skills (Including, but not limited to: Windows, Office, Visio, Project Manager, Internet).
• Need to be an excellent communicator in several languages; English, French, and preferably Spanish.
• Works independently and pro-actively

B. Required experience

• Overall 15 years in QA domain in Seed industry and minimum 3 years in commercial aspects in a highly R&D driven company

C. Physical and psychological constraints to lead teams

D. Special Training Preferred : Specific training in all department within a Seed Company. Use of QA platform Quantitative genetics and interaction with the environment Safety Health and Environment in Agro Industry

COMPENSATION

Commensurate with qualifications and experience and not a constraint for the right candidate.
