MAIN MISSIONS:

You will handle on your market's segment:

• The development of an innovative and efficient portfolio consistent with market demands and market opportunities; 
• The production of the associated strategic plan.

MAIN ACTIVITIES:

To do so, you will elaborate, in your segment, the product offer and the strategic plan:

• Consolidate available date related to the global context of the crop (market/ competitors/ thecnical innovations...) and suggest working directions
• Analyse, in connexion with Business Units, the markets needs for short and mid-terms.
• Validate the technical specifications requested for the new products (formalization of short and mid-term demand) and contribute to the global building of the crop portfolio
• Analyze the profitability of new candidates and suggest guidelines for their positioning
• Build and recommend the annual strategic plan for your segment accordingly with global objectives and strategy of the Company.
• Contribute to the product offer deployment
• Deploy, on its segment, the products offer wich as been decided
• Support the Business Units in its actions initiated and developped on its territories
• Provide knowledge on the new products
• Train local products managers
• Contribute to local communication tools
• Participate to the monitoring of trial seeds

MINIMUM REQUIREMENT:

• Graduate degree in Agronomy
• Minimum 3/5 years of experience in the seed industry or crop protection
• A strong background in market development as well as seed crop
• Fluent in Ukrainian
• Good knowledge in English and/or French
• Ability to work in an international environment and self-directed manner

This position reports to the Market Developement Manager based in France.

The position is based in Kiev, Ukraine. As responsible for Ukraine and the Black Sea area, you may have to travel frequently in this area but also to France.
