The Limagrain Group is the largest plant breeding and seed company in Europe. We are currently seeking a full-time Assistant Wheat Breeder to join our highly successful wheat breeding programme based at Woolpit near Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.

Activities involve a wide range of seasonal tasks including crossing, field scoring, selection, harvest, sampling and quality assessment of potential new commercial wheat varieties. This role also involves participation in and co-ordination of various internal and collaborative research projects. This position requires a flexible approach and the ability to work as part of a team.

Qualifications required are at bachelor degree level or above, in Plant Science or a related subject. Practical experience in breeding, agronomy or a similar field and the use of statistical or data handling software would be an advantage. A full clean driving licence is essential.
