To lead our Product management sunflower in our subsidiary in Schlanstedt, Germany we are seeking a:

Head of Product management Sunflower (m/f)

Your job description

• Market exploration and joint definition of breeding goals
• Definition of product portfolio for EU and Non-EU countries (sunflower hybrids)
• Sunflower hybrid application and registration and documentation
• Evaluation of sunflower hybrids in the target market
• Life cycle management of products
• Management of licensed products (internal and external)
• Accompany sunflower marketing concept
• Budget planning and controlling of product management strategy as part of the sunflower strategy
• Close exchange with sales and product department including breeding and production

Requirements:

• Strong education in seed, plant breeding, agriculture, biology or related field
• Experience in the sunflower seed business
• Good language skills in English (spoken and written). German, Spanish, Russian, Italian, French are of advantage
• Flexibility and willingness to work overtime
• Geographic mobility, willingness to travel up to 30% of the working time.
• Ability to work independently, as well as in teams, cost-consciously, and result-oriented
• Strong endurance, communication skills, high organization skills
• Good knowledge of MS-Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• European drivers licence (B)
