This two-year course addresses the reduced number of plant breeders being trained in academic programs around the world. The program targets working professionals who desire to become fully trained plant breeders while maintaining their current employment. Participants meet for six one-week sessions over two years at 4 European locations and at UC Davis. Readings and exercises continue between sessions via the internet.
