Syngenta Seed Care offers first seed treatment insecticide for small-seeded vegetables

Greensboro, North Carolina, USA

Syngenta Seed Care has introduced the first seed treatment insecticide for small-seeded vegetables as a component of FarMore® Technology. FarMore Technology delivers a cutting-edge, results-oriented platform with diverse, broad-spectrum pest protection. The insecticide component is for use on cucurbit and leafy vegetables and helps provide targeted protection against early-season sucking and chewing insects including aphids, cucumber beetles, flea beetles, seed corn maggots, whiteflies and leafminers in head, romaine and leaf lettuce.

"The insecticide component of FarMore Technology offers a new concept in seed treatment for the small-seeded vegetable producer," said Chad Shelton, Syngenta Seed Care crop manager. "Syngenta understands the value of these crops to a grower's business and is committed to meeting the needs of the vegetable market. The extension of the FarMore Technology platform complements the disease protection component which has already proven its effectiveness and value to growers across the country."

In addition to the insecticide component, FarMore Technology also offers broad-spectrum disease protection of seed-borne and soil-borne fungi that cause early-season infections. The components of FarMore Technology serve as the first line of defense from pests and diseases by perfectly preparing each seed and seedling to thrive in the field. This convenient, all-in-one plant health solution will ensure a healthy crop start, optimum stand establishment and plant vigor, helping maximize yield, quality and profit potential.

Important: Always read and follow label instructions before buying or using Syngenta products.

FarMore Technology is a seed company or seed technology provider-applied proprietary combination of separately registered seed enhancement products.
