Prior to this promotion, Becker had served as a Trait Sales Manager for GreenLeaf since July of 2007, primarily in Minnesota and the Dakotas where he has worked with several independent seed companies and national accounts. In his new role, he will manage the Trait Sales Manager team as well as serve as the account manager for several key accounts. Becker will continue to reside in Lakeville, Minnesota.

Hall started as a Genetic Sales Manager for GreenLeaf Genetics in December of 2004 and has continued that role since the formation of the joint venture in 2007. In his role, he was responsible for working with independent seed companies in the western U.S. to recommend the best products for each company’s geography. Hall will now manage the Genetic Sales Manager team and will continue to work with some of the accounts that he currently manages. Hall continues to live and work out of Elk Point, South Dakota.

“As we continue to grow our portfolio of genetics and traits, we are excited to promote these two fine gentlemen into roles where they can continue to make an impact on the organization,” said Ron Wulfkuhle, CEO of GreenLeaf Genetics.

David Morgan, President of Syngenta Seeds adds, “I welcome the recent promotions of Rich Hall and Clayton Becker as clear evidence of the continued development of the GreenLeaf Genetics management team.”

“Clayton and Rich have made significant contributions to the success of GreenLeaf Genetics,” said Bob Iwig, Pioneer Hi-Bred Vice President - Business Development Trait Licensing and GreenLeaf board member. “Both are very deserving of these promotions in recognition of their hard and excellent work.”

GreenLeaf Genetics LLC, a joint venture between Syngenta and DuPont business, Pioneer Hi-Bred, offers licenses for corn and soybean genetic material to foundation seed houses and seed companies and facilitates the licensing of biotech traits from its parent companies. GreenLeaf Genetics is currently helping more than 150 seed companies to access genetics and traits from Syngenta and Pioneer.
