East-West Seed Philippines and Syngenta announce partnership for highland crops

East-West Seed Philippines and Syngenta have recently launched a partnership for highland crop seed varieties including carrot (Chun Hong), Chinese cabbage (Summer Star, CR Jin Shim) and white cabbage (Kila Protect).

These varieties were developed by Syngenta and will be distributed by East-West Seed on an exclusive basis beginning September 2011. East-West Seed will handle all sales, marketing and promotions for this partnership.

“This will bring together our marketing and business expertise, along with an excellent portfolio of products – all in the effort to better serve our farmer customers. It will ensure better coverage and efficiency in making quality vegetable seed varieties available to our customers,” said Dr. Mary Ann Sayoc, Country Manager of East-West Seed Philippines.
