One-of-a-kind agricultural research and insight platform highlights revamped Global AgInvesting website

Boston, Massachusetts, USA
April 23, 2012

Building upon its premier standing as a leader in the global agricultural consulting realm, HighQuest Partners today unveiled, at its Global AgInvesting conference in New York, an updated Global AgInvesting(SM) website that includes a first-in-the-industry comprehensive Research & Insight platform.

Designed to showcase its vast knowledge of the agricultural investment industry, Global AgInvesting Research & Insight will address the global challenges of investing in agribusiness, from operational issues to climate and political risk to trading levels. Carefully crafted in response to feedback from the marketplace, this platform will provide critical education and information for investors to make qualified, decisive investment decisions.

"Investing in agriculture is a young, fragmented space that is rapidly growing," said Tripp Lantz, COO at HighQuest Partners, a leading strategy and consulting firm providing services to the global investment, agriculture and biofuels industries. "Our Research & Insight web platform will accelerate the organization of this market by providing sector-specific insight in a single source location, facilitating the exchange of ideas."

William Kiernan, director of Global AgInvesting Research & Insight, added that this platform will be the vehicle that expands the breadth and depth of the collective knowledge base of the agricultural investment community.

"The services and information offered through Research & Insight – the details, research and observations from experienced thought-leaders in the industry – just cannot be found anywhere else," said Kiernan. Kiernan pointed to thematically-driven papers, such as the exploration of a possible farmland bubble, and the investigation into opportunities for ag investing in China, as examples of the materials that can be accessed by subscribers to the new platform. This one-of-a-kind research is completed by HighQuest Partners' ag industry professionals, who have more than a century's worth of combined experience in the industry.

Research & Insight users also will benefit from comprehensive market intelligence and current investment themes, strategies, deal flow, return parameters and sector analysis. Membership includes bi-monthly and quarterly newsletters, focused research pieces, interviews and editorials, and the first-ever comprehensive directory of agriculture investment stakeholders.

"We present this dynamic compilation of information to those serious about delving deeper into the who, what, where, when and why of investing in agriculture," said Lantz. "We have built it at the marketplace's request; now, the invitation is open to explore and share in this first-of-its-kind knowledge base."
