43rd Annual Sugar Beet Research Reporting Session scheduled in Fargo, North Dakota on January 8

The 43rd annual Sugar Beet Research Reporting Session will be held on Jan. 8 at the Fargo Holiday Inn starting at 7:45 a.m.
Researchers from North Dakota State University, the University of Minnesota, Texas A&M, Montana State University and U.S. Department of Agriculture will provide updates on 2012 research.

- Sugar beet insect surveillance, control and 2013 outlook
- Springtail control
- Relationship between beet necrotic yellow vein virus (BNYVV) and rhizoctonia root rot
- Protein expression in Rz-1 and Rz-2 sugar beets infected with traditional versus resistance-breaking BNYVV isolates
