CLAUSE: Spotlight on trade shows

Valence, France
February 13, 2013

At the end of October 2012, CLAUSE participated in the INDAGRA show in Bucharest, with its distributor Agris Romania.

This annual meeting of Romanian farming professionals gave CLAUSE and AGRIS the opportunity to meet with several Romanian, Greek and Bulgarian producers at their stand.
There, they were able to present a wide range of varieties such as the indeterminate round tomato Lorely for greenhouses and the Celine Crimson Sweet watermelon which is particularly well-adapted to early crops.

At the beginning of December, Clause was an exhibitor with its subsidiary at the GROWTECH show in Antalya.

For this prestigious event, Clause completely renovated its stand. Visitors had the chance to see many new products such as the Mae and Credo ananas melons, the Clx 37532 and Clx 37574 tomatoes, as well as the Clx P549 pepper.

The first vegetable seed catalogue for the local market was launched at this show. The multi-species product line contains no fewer than 18 new varieties especially for tomato, brassica, melon, sweet corn and rootstock.

Also in December, CLAUSE Maghreb participated in SUD AGRAL, a professional show dedicated to agriculture in the Saharan and Steppes regions. It was held in Biskra, the most important zone for early crops in Algeria.

Clause Maghreb's participation in this show gave them the opportunity to confirm its position in the local market and express its strong attachment to the region. It also provided a special opportunity for making new contacts and meeting the different actors in the market.

The CLAUSE stand provided a true showcase for new vegetable products from HM-CLAUSE Research and it revealed a remarkable range of innovative varieties including Timgad F1, for the first sowing of indeterminate tomatoes, Kartier F1, reserved for the second sowing, sweet horn pepper Groun F1, or the canary yellow melon Babor F1. Some experimental varieties developed specifically for the Biskra zone were also presented by the local sales team.
