Chemtura Corporation, debtor-in-possession, (Pink Sheets: CEMJQ) (the “Company” or “Chemtura”) reported today that it has filed its Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q for the third quarter. This release summarizes the financial results for the third quarter of 2009 and investors are encouraged to review the Form 10-Q for more details of the performance for the quarter. For the third quarter of 2009, the Company recorded net earnings on a GAAP basis of $8 million, or $0.03 per share and net earnings on a managed basis of $17 million, or $0.07 per share.
