United Kingdom - New website launched for Syngenta's Hyvido hybrid barley

United Kingdom
April 22, 2013

Cereal growers can find out more about Syngenta hybrid barley by logging on to a new website.

Cereal growers considering growing hybrid barley this autumn can now log on to a new website www.hyvido.co.uk to learn more about the recently-launched Hyvido™ hybrid barley crop.

The site, which is part of breeder Syngenta’s website, is aimed at anyone wanting to find out more about the benefits of the crop and how to grow it, Syngenta cereal campaign manager, Mark Britton, points out.

“As well as providing a specific introduction to Hyvido, the site also includes a section explaining what hybrid barley is, as well as featuring videos and access to an online Hyvido brochure,” Mr Britton explains.

“There is also an interactive profitability calculator tool, together with information on Hyvido agronomy – including a variety guide specifically for the popular hybrid barley, Hyvido Volume,” he adds.

There are also plans to add further content throughout the year, so there will be plenty of reasons to re-visit the site, Mr Britton points out.
