Holambra, Brazil
July 1, 2013
Hortitec, one of the most important exhibitions of the horticultural sector in Brazil, attracts thousands of visitors every year. Among them are the country’s major producers, distributors and professionals.
The event took place from June 19 to 21 in the city of Holambra – State of Sao Paulo.
Our participation was a great success as the Nunhems booth attracted many agricultural professionals from northern to southern Brazil. Particular interest went out to our innovative and differential releases such as the tomatoes Minotauro and Tarantely, watermelon Talisman, onion Vulkana and our Multileaf lettuce range.
The Multileaf range was one of the highlights and created a lot of buzz with the fair visitors, thanks to the many benefits of these varieties: Diversity of colors and shapes, good postharvest qualities, and of course the practicality in handling. Its leaves come loose in a single cut - facilitating packaging and consumption.
"The event has been very positive in terms of prospecting for new customers and launching new varieties. In a dynamic market like Brazil, Hortitec certainly gives competitive advantage to the participants," said Vinicius Bueno, Nunhems Country Sales Manager for Brazil.
Our presence at Hortitec enables us to foster relationships with producers and communicate the results of the important research and development work that is being carried out in Brazil. This work allows the company to offer solutions that are more and more adapted to the needs of Brazilian producers and consumers.
