USA - Supplemental herbicide labeling on oilseed crops

USA
August 5, 2013

Monsanto has issued supplemental labeling for Roundup WeatherMax, PowerMax, and RT 3 for several types of application in oilseed crops. The most applicable application that was registered is for preharvest application. Many oilseed crops are listed but those that pertain to North Dakota include canola, crambe, mustard for seed, rapeseed, and sunflower. Preharvest use includes weed control which serves as a harvest aid when applied to physiologically mature oilseed crops. Refer to the label for amount of product allowed to use and timing of application.

All pesticide labels and registrations must be approved by the North Dakota Department of Agriculture before they can be used in the state. To determine if these labels have been approved for use please refer to the North Dakota Department of Agriculture registered pesticide database.
