Seed Processing Holland expands into North America

Enkhuizen, The Netherlands
January 9, 2014

It is with great pleasure that Seed Processing Holland (SPH) announces that it will expand its activities by opening up its Seed Processing Holland Inc. (SPH) Sales Office in the US in 2014!

SPH recognizes the importance of the North American seed market and it has always been our wish to enhance our service level to this region by having a direct presence. We believe in the high value of working side by side with customers and this new US platform will enable SPH to do so and bring the right solutions to any seed processing and packaging need.

This is an important step in SPH strategic plans and we are pleased to announce the appointment of Jeffrey Verpaalen who will head up the new SPH sales office in the US. The last 2 years we have been able to work successfully with Jeffrey in various flower and vegetable seed projects in Europe and with his skill set, background and experience we look forward to achieve our goals in North America.

Jeffrey noted; “I am excited to be part of SPH and I welcomed the opportunity to become partner in this new North American venture as I strongly believe in SPH growth in this region. I am a 43-year-old Dutch national with 20 years of international business experience and I mainly worked for multinational companies in the chemicals (GE), pharmaceuticals (Teva), and seed industry (Data Technologies). I have worked in the US and Latin America for many years in sales, marketing and management positions and I now look forward to spearhead SPH’s North American expansion plans. It is my goal to work closely with our customers, become a trusted partner, and to bring the right solutions for their seed processing and packaging activities.”

Jeffrey will begin making US market visits in January 2014 together with Willem van Dok and will be further introduced to the North American market during the ASTA congress in Monterey (CA) held between January 25 – 28, 2014.

Following a training period at SPH in The Netherlands, Willem van Dok will transfer the North American market to Jeffrey who will then start Seed Processing Holland Inc. in California.

Jeffrey Verpaalen can be contacted as follows:
