Introducing Premium: The LITTLE Watermelon WITH THE BIG YIELD

Nunhems’ watermelon team will introduce for the first time to the US market the variety “Premium” at the National Watermelon Convention February 19th through 23rd in Savannah, Georgia.

The National Watermelon convention is gearing up for their 100th anniversary event next week in Savannah, Georgia. Watermelon growers from all over the world will attend this event to learn about the latest and greatest in the market. Nunhems’ watermelon team has been preparing to showcase a new pollinator variety at this event. “Premium” has been a fast growing variety in the European market, and there is great potential for it to have the same success in the US.

“Premium” is the innovative pollinizer. Premium’s many attributes include that of improved sustainability and higher profitability to the grower. Instead of leaving the pollinator fruit in the field due to quality issues, growers can harvest Premium as marketable watermelon. This unique pollinator has smaller edible seeds, great flavor and excellent shipping ability. Premium can generate more marketable yields, reduce waste and ultimately more profit per acre.

Nunhems is the global specialist in seed development. “Premium” is the latest in a long line of innovation delivering the most profitable varieties to the produce industry, all with the grower and consumer in mind. Be sure to go to Nunhems’ booth (7S) at the National Watermelon Convention to learn more. The Saturday night event dinner will feature “Premium” watermelon during the appetizer course so all attendees can experience the new variety.

Nunhems’ is proud to introduce “Premium” as a marketable and flavorful pollinator that can boost a grower’s bottom line. For more information about Premium or other Nunhems’ varieties, please contact a Nunhems’ representative at 800-733-9505.
