ADAMA announces the departure of its APAC, Africa & ME region's CEO

ADAMA Agricultural Solutions Ltd. (“Adama” or “the Company”), a leading global provider of crop protection solutions, today announced the departure of Ran Maidan, CEO of APAC, Africa & ME. Ran Maidan will continue to serve in his position untill May 15th, 2014, at which time he will be appointed Netafim CEO.

Chen Lichtenstein, Adama’s President and CEO said: “Ran took an integral part in forming our company’s strategic direction and was an important contributor to its expansion and success over the past few years. Most recently, he established and led successfully a strategic region for our organization. Bringing together his leadership and professionalism he created strong teams, and led the region which will continue to grow. Adama’s APAC, Africa and ME region has demonstrated significant growth in the past few years and served as a growth engine for the comapny. The region’s most established operations are in Australia and India.
