ISTA Variety Identification Using Molecular Markers Workshop
Location: Ottawa, Ontario, Canada

The use of DNA based molecular markers to genotype crop varieties has become a valuable tool to help in the identification of varieties.

Therefore, the ISTA Variety Committee is announcing a Workshop on Variety Identification Using Molecular Markers to be held in Ottawa, Canada, from July 7th to July 10th 2014. The workshop is intended to instruct the participant on the theory and practices of:

  • Basic DNA techniques;
  • Genotyping methods;
  • Data interpretation;

Registration is possible until June 1st, 2014.
