Simultaneously with GreenTech, five international market leaders in vegetable seeds, including Enza Zaden, participate individually in the first VegetableTrials in the Netherlands. On 11 and 12 June 2014, the vegetable trials are open for national and international growers who want to select the best varieties of vegetables for their future business.

These companies each will show their newest and best varieties of vegetables to professional growers from around the world. They will do this in their own demonstration greenhouses, showing visitors pre-commercial and commercial varieties and giving expert advice on the best crop for every situation. The VegetableTrials offer an attractive additional program for vegetable growers visiting the GreenTech exhibition (10-11-12 June) in the Netherlands. GreenTech organisers expect to welcome over 10,000 horticulture and floriculture professionals from around the world.

The five companies are confident with their individual participation in the Vegetable Trials and with the GreenTech exhibition at the same time. VegetableTrials spokesperson and co-organizer Mr. Maurice Wubben about the event: “With five breeding companies participating, the VegetableTrials provide added value to Dutch horticulture, to the GreenTech exhibition, for the companies themselves and especially for the visitor.”

The respective companies each welcome all visitors on their different demo greenhouses in the Westland area. Registering through the website www.vegetabletrials.nl is necessary to receive the guidance visitors may expect from the seed companies.
