July 2, 2014

Dow AgroSciences LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of The Dow Chemical Company (NYSE: Dow), has signed a binding agreement to purchase Coodetec's seeds business. The transaction is subject to certain closing conditions, including the approval by Brazilian Antitrust Authority (CADE). The completion of the transaction is estimated for the fourth quarter of 2014.
