Oro Agri International expands its technical team

Oro Agri International Ltd is to expand its European team with the appointment of Mark Batt as Business Development and Technical Support Manager for UK and Europe Central zone. This new role, reporting to General Manager Europe, Carol Pullen, will involve managing product development trials and assist with dossier writing for the UK and central zones along with providing technical and market support.

“I am very happy to be joining Oro Agri at this exciting time and look forward to using my skills in support of all the innovative products both currently available and in the pipeline,” says Mark, who joins the company in July.

Mark has over ten years of experience in the agrochemical and biological sectors having specialized in product development, technical support and registrations. He was previously employed as UK Development Manager for international chemical manufacturer, Agriphar S.A. Prior to that he was Senior Trials Manager for international bio pest solutions manufacturer ExoSect.

Having lived and worked on the family farm, Mark’s interest in farming and horticulture began at an early age. He graduated from the University of Essex with a degree in Agriculture before embarking on a professional career in the agrochemical sector and has experience of working across the world.
