IP in Ag Innovation Series: Soybeans

July 31, 2014

Source: IP52.org, a movement, started by CropLife International and dedicated to changing the way we look at the world around us by better understanding the role of IP in our lives.

From the Argentina to China, consumers are quickly adding more and more soy products — from oils to tofus — to their menus.

Keeping up with these demands means farmers need healthier and heartier varieties of soybeans that can stand up to the constant threat of weeds and diseases. Innovators have taken up this challenge and are producing varieties that offer new forms of pest control and can adapt to all types of climates.
